Ubuntu Magazine issue 11: A Sanctuary for humpback whales
Featured in Ubuntu Magazine
I’m honored to be featured in Ubuntu Magazine, a publication dedicated to promoting wildlife conservation across the globe.
In this issue, I share my unforgettable experience with the humpback whales in Hervey Bay, a place that holds immense significance in the conservation of the Australian eastern coast humpback population. This unique sanctuary serves as a resting and socializing spot for the whales during their migration, contributing greatly to their thriving numbers today.
Hervey Bay has given me the opportunity to witness these gentle giants in their natural habitat, observing their playful interactions and deep bonds. Being able to tell their story is a privilege, and I’m grateful to Ubuntu Magazine for highlighting the importance of protecting both these incredible animals and the environments that sustain them.
